My name is Mrs. Ábrego and I have been teaching in Moreno Valley since 2006. I am blessed to work with children, their families and a dedicated staff. Prior, I taught at Sunnymead Middle School for five years. There, I taught math and science in the sixth grade. I have also taught out of state, in Lake Havasu, Arizona. There, I had the pleasure of working at Thunderbolt Middle School in the seventh grade. Meanwhile, I worked on my Master’s in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University. After four years of teaching experience, I moved back to California and attended the University of Redlands. I have a supplemental in mathematics from UCR and currently working on a math and bilingual credential.
My family and I currently live in Redlands and attend Trinity Church. We try to stay involved with church functions and activities. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and my three boys. I love the ocean! I try to enjoy the beach any time there’s an opportunity. I enjoy walking, reading, cooking, relaxing and just having fun with my family and friends-maybe at a Dodger’s game ;-). I really enjoy the outdoors, too!
My personal commitment is that your child will receive the highest quality of instruction as well as support and challenging opportunities to grow academically and socially. Your child and their education is very important to me so I focus on creating a positive classroom environment where every child feels safe, accepted and cared for. As a team, we will work together to make sure that your child has successful year full of learning and discovery.
