Sugar Hill is a K-5 Elementary School with a current enrollment of approximately 550 students. The school is located in the northern section of the city of Moreno Valley. The neighborhood school opened in September of 1987. Currently the school has 21 regular education classes, one Special Day Class (SDC), and 1.5 Resource Class (RSP). The staff also includes 3 permanent Instructional Assistants, and part-time School Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, and Counselor. Sugar Hill also houses the Think Together After School Program.

Sugar Hill Elementary is comprised of a diverse population of students. The dominant language spoken is English. Parents and community partnerships are vital to the overall success of our school. Valued partnerships include an active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA), School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Committee(ELAC), District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC), Adopt-A-School community partners, and other volunteers.
