Mrs. Razavi - Spanish Teacher
Hello Sugar Hill Parents/Guardians,
My name is Lida Razavi and I am beyond excited to be your child’s Spanish teacher this year. I value cultural diversity and I am excited to be part of Sugar Hill’s movement toward accreditation for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years’ Program. I strongly believe in preparing students to be global citizens through providing early access to language instruction to be successful in the 21 Century.
A little about myself, I am from San Diego, California, where I had the privilege to live close to the Tijuana Mexico border, I received my Bachelors in Spanish Literature and Child Development from SDSU. During my undergraduate years, I studied abroad for a year in Madrid Spain. Later, I attended University of San Diego where I pursued my Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum Instruction while earning my Single Subject Spanish Credential, in addition to my Character Education Certificate.. I strongly believe in preparing students to be successful 21st century global citizens through providing early access to language instruction. My goal is to build enthusiasm for lifelong language learning. I will work to expose your child to the Spanish language and culture. Here’s to a fantastic school year together!
